Cooking
2 Frozen Hake Sliders
100g Red Cabbage Finely shredded
100g Green Cabbage Finely shredded
1 Carrot Peeled and julienned
50g Cashews
1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
1.5 tbsp Soy Sauce
1/4 tsp Chilli Flakes Adjust to taste
1 tbsp Olive Oil
Method:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the finely shredded red cabbage and green cabbage. Toss them together to mix well.
- Add the julienned carrot to the bowl with the cabbage.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, chilli flakes, and olive oil to create the dressing.
- Drizzle the dressing over the cabbage, carrot, and toss to ensure even coating.
- Allow the slaw to rest for about 10-15 minutes to let the flavors meld and the vegetables soften slightly.
- Just before serving, sprinkle the toasted cashews and sesame seeds over the slaw.
