Cooking
Recipe: Shrimp
Ingredients:
240g Shrimp 1 packet
1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
1 1/2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 egg white, whisked
Fresh Parsley, chopped, for garnish
Method:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C
- In a bowl, combine the Panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to evenly distribute the seasonings.
- Dip each shrimp into the whisked egg white, allowing any excess to drip off.
- Roll the egg-coated shrimp in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the breadcrumbs to the shrimp. Ensure each shrimp is coated evenly.
- Place the breaded shrimp on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
- Make sure to leave some space between each shrimp to ensure even cooking.
Bake the shrimp in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. The cooking time may vary based on the size of the shrimp.
- Once the shrimp popcorn is cooked to a crispy golden texture, remove them from the oven.
- Transfer the shrimp popcorn to a serving plate and garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a burst of freshness and color.
